Wednesday Crush of the Week: Sanaa Lathan

So I decided to start a blog once every hump day for a little boost to get you through the rest of the week. Hopefully it strikes conversation, blogging, gets you out of writers block, or maybe just as simple as a little eye candy... Enjoy!

Midsummer Update

Hello Beautiful Ladies!

I know I have been on hiatus for a while but I have not had much to write about. But I wanted to give you a summer update on what has been going on with me...

I am currently in the last two weeks of my second summer class after it is over I will have a couple of weeks off until I go back for fall semester. 2 more semesters to go!

Speaking of that I found out my graduation date is tentatively May 14, 2010. I am EXCITED! Not too too excited because I have to complete the semesters with good grades to graduate. Not knowing how the classes will be or the professors it still worries me but I am going to work my butt off.

I made some future decisions that I am quite happy about I just have to get over the school hump before getting started on the future hump. My family is doing well I have been spending a lot time with my sister and she has been enjoying it. I feel a little bit at ease because the dust is settling in some areas of my life. But life is complicated at times but somehow you have to get through it.

Even though I am not in a relationship it has been quite a summer of roller coaster rides. For some reason people have the tendency to not hear what I am saying and in turn people get upset because they did not realize I said that. I personally call it "tunnel vision" and I feel like everyone I know has it. On the other hand I have had a lot of good experiences though.

Oh yes I have been to some events in Baltimore poetry and other events and I met Natalie Stewart! I gave her a hug and took a picture with her! I was soo excited. I am also going to Tracy Chapman in concert in a couple of weeks too. She is one of my favorite artists and I cannot wait to see her!

All in all things have been looking up! How is your summer going? Any trips or exciting events?

The fantasy... Pt. 5

I woke up and watched you sleep. I thought of the time when our relationship was tested and how I just wanted to give up on us. But you did not let me, you stood by my side even when it was trying. I started crying just thinking about it. You woke up telling me to get dressed you could not tell that I was crying. I hopped in the shower excited for our next adventure.

When I got out of the shower this beautiful dress was laying on the bed next to a black suit. You saw the big smile on my face grabbed my chin and kissed my dimple. You then went to take your shower. When you came out I was sitting on the bed in my lingerie putting on lotion. I then asked you if you could put lotion on my back. You gave me a smirk and put your hand out for some lotion.

After we got dressed we drove to this restaurant. The ambiance was relaxed and just right. While we were eating dinner and drinking wine we talked about going back home and starting our work/school week. I thanked you for the lovely weekend but you told me it was not over that we still had a little bit of time left.

After our dessert we went back to our room but before we went back in you got the blanket from your car and gave it to me. I held your hand and followed you, we walked then stopped on this bridge. I could not tell you how long we were out there but you held me in your arms with my head in your shoulder as we were both wrapped in the blanket talking.

While we were talking I told you that little things like just talking made me love you even more. I knew then I wanted to spent the rest of my life with me. Three years later I am wrote you this letter for you to to read on the eve of our wedding. I wanted to tell you that our adventures will continue from here because our history fuels our future together. I love you and cannot wait to walk down the aisle tomorrow and see your smiling face.

Your Love
